Being from Hamburg/ Germany he is continuing the family line of Marine business.
Born and raised on a freighter gave him a feeling for the ocean and ships at a very early stage of his life.

Further journeys took him for several years to Hong Kong and the Philippines until he finally ended his journey in Ft. Lauderdale/ Florida where he started Schooner Marine in 1995.
