Being from Hamburg/ Germany, he is continuing the family line of marine business.

Born and raised on a freighter gave him a feeling for the ocean and ships at a very early stage of his life. Further journeys took him for several years to Hong Kong and the Philippines until he finally ended his journey in Ft. Lauderdale/ Florida, where he started Schooner Yachts in 1995.

Fernando Castro

Fernando was born in Puerto Rico and raised in Venezuela. After completing Hotel and Business Management College in the US, he joined the Cruise ship industry. He lived on the water for 14 years which makes him the team member with the strongest “sea legs”.

He has been in the yachting industry for many years and loves to pilot his 50 foot Ferretti.

Mark Davey

Sales and Brokerage

Mark Davey originally hails from New Jersey and previously spent his summers boating in the Hamptons in New York. After many years salt water sport fishing, he decided to move to Florida.

His strong sales experience from the Petro chemical industry, and his passion for boating, compelled him to join the world of yachting. Since then, he has worked extensively with various yacht builders including well-known shipyards from China and Taiwan. His vast maritime knowledge and technical expertise will suit any boat lover’s needs.

David Pandorf

Captain /Sales and Brokerage

Returning to South Florida last year from Cincinnati, Ohio, David Pandorf owned his own business, doing yacht deliveries and maintenance.

David moved to Fort Lauderdale in 1968 and began working in Marinas to establish himself, received his captain license and began cruising the Atlantic, Caribbean and New England on both power and sail. He has cruised in all weather conditions and loved every minute of it!
